A drunk driver in Auburn, Washington swerved into a donut shop and likely would have killed several people if not for some bollards in front of the front door.
On Friday morning, a truck was speeding in Auburn, Washington when it left the road and slammed into barriers in front of Donut Star. Two people were nearly hit. Fortunately, neither of the customers were injured.
No one was hurt, but surveillance video from the scene showed the concrete barrier stopped the truck just inches away from two customers who were entering the store.
Police say there have been several previous crashes at the same spot – and that is why the doughnut shop had concrete barriers installed around the building. The shop has been cleared to stay open.
