Wild Brooklyn Road Rage Brawl Ends With Man Nearly Run Over After Trying To Dodge Knife Attacks

The startling video shows two drivers fighting in the middle of the Brooklyn street Tuesday afternoon — before one of the enraged men hops in a car and nearly runs the other over.

The road rage brawl broke out near the intersection of Norman Avenue and McGuinness Boulevard in Greenpoint around 1:30 p.m., when the driver of a white sedan stopped his car to confront a nearby Toyota driver — wearing a black baseball cap — about cutting him off, police said.

In the footage posted to Youtube by Yeshiva World News, the men are seen sparring for nearly 30 seconds — while cars can be heard honking in the background — before a good Samaritan in a white shirt tries to intervene.

Man Dodges Knife Attacks

The blade-wielding man then walks around the black Toyota, opens the passenger side door and snags the driver’s car keys from the ignition before running to his car and hopping into the driver’s seat.

While the Toyota driver rushes after his keys, the white car begins to drive away — taking the man with it. As he’s sandwiched between the moving car and a van, the man loses his shoes and is thrown over the hoods of both vehicles, video shows.

Miraculously, the victim only suffered cuts and a bruised hip. He was taken to Woodhull Hospital for evaluation.
