Here’s Why You Don’t Take A Selfie At The Top Of A 50-Foot Waterfall

Luckily this guy survived, although he sustained a broken hip. It’s the latest in a recent series of serious — and sometimes fatal — accidents with people taking precarious selfies.

 

 

A man plummeted 50ft down a waterfall drop after slipping while trying to take the perfect selfie on a slippery edge. He had been visiting his friends at the waterfall in the Gariaband District in northern India.

Footage of the fall was captured by a fellow visitor of the waterfall.

Making his way to the top of the picturesque natural feature, he decided to take a photo. But he slipped on the wet stone before crashing over the lip of the falls and plunging down onto the rocks below.

After slipping on the wet stone, he narrowly avoids seriously injuring another man standing at the bottom of the waterfall.

 

Luckily this guy survived, although he sustained a broken hip

 

The youth reportedly broke his pelvis in the terrifying plunge at the waterfall. He remains in hospital recovering.
