Couple Caught On Video Dumping Trash In Ohio Wildlife Preserve

A couple seen dumping their trash in a wildlife preserve has been caught and charged. The Hocking County Sheriff’s Department posted a video of the crime on their Facebook page earlier this week. It has been viewed more than 360,000 times and received nearly 1,500 comments as of 6 a.m. Friday.

Authorities say the video shows Corey Webb and Amanda Pyke of Perry County getting out of their truck and unloading garbage into the woods. They threw out trash bags, a bench, an old TV, dresser and hubcaps. Once it was unloaded, they took off.

Couple Throws Trash In Wildlife Reserve

Authorities say they made contact with the two people who allegedly confessed to dumping items at multiple locations.

Webb and Pyke are both charged with littering on state property and operating a vehicle in a non-designated area. Both charges are misdemeanors.
