This College Cheerleader’s Outrageously Happy Routine Goes Viral For All The Right Reasons

Cheerleading, for all intents and purposes, is a purely American thing. It’s part of the very fabric of their nation which includes Rodeo and burning Nike sneakers because they don’t like people taking a knee during the national anthem.

The Oxford dictionary has two definitions for cheerleading: 1) ‘A member of a team that performs organised cheering, chanting, and dancing in support of a sports team at matches’ and 2) ‘An enthusiastic and vocal supporter of someone or something’. LaDarius Marshall embodies both of those definitions.

The cheerleader from Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas, shot to viral fame thanks to his incredible enthusiasm for his routine at a recent college football game. Marshall, who is originally from Florida, was filmed by the Navarro director of cheerleading, Monica Holcomb Aldama.

She recorded Marshall during his routine as he enthusiastically thrust and gyrated his hips in the lead up to the Navarro College Bulldogs’ game against the Georgia Military College back in August.

Cheerleader Goes Viral

His enthusiasm for school spirit was enjoyed by more than 1.8k people on Facebook; including rapper and actor Ludacris and viewers on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
