Tube Passenger Sparks Outrage After Painting His Face Black For Halloween Costume

A video has emerged of a man travelling on the London Underground wearing a black painted face.

 

 

When the guy was quizzed about his choice of ‘costume’ by another passenger, he defended himself and answered ‘why not?’ The man, who wore a black curly wig and suit along with the fact paint, defended himself by shrugging and denying that there was a problem.

A woman told him: “It’s a bit racist that you put black make up on.” She went on to try and explain what the problem was with a Halloween costume like the one he was wearing.

Video footage of the altercation, which took place on the Central Line, was posted on to Twitter with the caption: “It’s 2018 ? How is this still happening ?”

 

The man, who wore a black curly wig and suit along with the fact paint, defended himself by shrugging and denying that there was a problem

 

The clip was posted yesterday and has had over 4,300 retweets and 7,500 likes.
