That is a bad azz camera accessory though.
This would probably be best used in a place where it is clear as day that you are wielding a camera and taking a photo and not, uh, pointing a rifle, but this is an exceedingly clever way to ensure you hold a big, heavy camera steady.
How come this isn’t more common in photography? It seems like an obvious solution for steady aiming.
It’s also a much easier way to hold it, stabilizing it against your shoulder. Those lenses weigh 3 or 4 lbs alone. That doesnt sound like much but when you’re taking upward of 500 pics a day it can get really tiring and might make your arms shaky.
It also just looks more fun than holding a camera normally.
